Polished silver metallic labels printed in the UK on 65-micron metallised PVC, supplied on easy-peel sheets with a bright, mirror-like finish and a permanent waterproof adhesive. Full-colour print, any size or shape, from a single label upwards.
Our polished silver labels carry a genuine reflective metal look that is easily mistaken for far more expensive engraved plaques. Printed on metallised PVC rather than paper, they hold that high-class shine on cosmetics, spirit bottles, gifts and branding without costing a fortune.
The CMYK inks we use are slightly translucent, so you get a choice: overlay your colours straight onto the silver for a subtle metallic sheen, or add a white under-base first for print that is as vibrant as it would be on paper. Mono designs and solid blocks of colour both look striking on the bright silver base.
Every order is cut to your exact measurements, in any shape you need, from one label upwards. If you would prefer a softer, less reflective look, our satin silver labels use the same material family - and free samples are on hand if you want to test the finish first.

By approving your proof you accept the following. Colour is reproduced as accurately as possible but cannot be guaranteed to match your screen, a printed sample or a previous order exactly. Differences between rich (full-colour) black and single black, colours sitting near the edge of the CMYK gamut, fine tints and slight variation between materials, finishes and print batches are a normal part of the printing process and may not be visible on your on-screen proof. These are considered within standard commercial print tolerance and are not classed as a fault. Where any question of print quality arises, StickyThings is the final arbiter of whether a job has printed correctly.
Frequently asked questions
Are these silver labels waterproof?
Yes. They are printed on metallised PVC with eco-solvent inks and a permanent waterproof adhesive, so they will not smudge when wet and can be used both indoors and outdoors. The reverse of the material is bright metallic silver too.
How do the printed colours look on the silver material?
Our CMYK inks are slightly translucent. Printed straight onto the silver they take on a metallic sheen with a slightly duller look, or we can lay down a white under-base first so the colours print as vibrant as they would on paper. Mono and solid-colour designs look especially smart.
What surfaces will the adhesive stick to?
The permanent solvent-based acrylic adhesive bonds to all smooth surfaces such as glass, metal and most rigid plastics. It will not hold well on low energy plastics like car bumpers and ABS, so order a free sample to test if you are unsure.
What is the difference between polished and satin silver?
Polished silver is our brightest, most reflective mirror-like finish. Satin silver uses a similar material but is less shiny and reflective, for a more understated metallic look. If you cannot decide, our free sample service lets you compare both in person.
What is the minimum order and can I have custom shapes?
Just one label. Enter any width and height for a standard shape, or supply a vector cutter guide for a bespoke die-cut, and we will cut your silver labels to spec. There are no set-up fees and you can mix designs in a single run.
