By approving your proof you accept the following. Colour is reproduced as accurately as possible but cannot be guaranteed to match your screen, a printed sample or a previous order exactly. Differences between rich (full-colour) black and single black, colours sitting near the edge of the CMYK gamut, fine tints and slight variation between materials, finishes and print batches are a normal part of the printing process and may not be visible on your on-screen proof. These are considered within standard commercial print tolerance and are not classed as a fault. Where any question of print quality arises, StickyThings is the final arbiter of whether a job has printed correctly.
Frequently asked questions
Can I get labels in a custom size and shape?
Yes. Enter any width and height for a standard shape, or supply a vector cut line on a separate layer in 100% magenta for a bespoke die-cut. We cut everything digitally, so there are no die charges and you aren’t limited to set sizes.
What materials can I choose from?
Premium paper for indoor labelling, or a 100-micron white waterproof vinyl in gloss or matt for anything that needs to survive water, oil, UV and the weather. A translucent finish is also available. If you’re unsure, use the free sample service before you commit.
Which adhesive should I pick?
There are three. Permanent is a strong, long-term bond for products, logos and lapel labels. Removable peels cleanly for temporary use such as book and magazine promotions, leaving no residue for up to six months. Extra-permanent is made to grip low-energy surfaces like plastic.
What is the minimum order?
Just one. Order a single label as a hard-copy sample or many thousands, and the price per label falls as your quantity rises. You can also see an instant online price, which is handy for prototyping.
How are the labels supplied?
On sheets as standard, ready to peel. If you’d rather have them cut into individual labels we can do that for a small fee - just let us know when you order.
