Polished gold metallic labels printed in the UK on 65-micron metallised film, supplied on sheets with a bright, mirror-gold finish and a permanent waterproof adhesive. Full-colour print, any custom size or shape, from a single label upwards.
Our polished gold labels have a genuine reflective metal look that is easily mistaken for far pricier engraved plaques. Printed on metallised PVC with a permanent solvent adhesive, they give packaging, spirits, cosmetics and gifts a high-class finish for a fraction of the cost of real metal.
The CMYK inks we print are slightly translucent, so you can overlay artwork straight onto the gold for a soft metallic tint, or add a white under-base first for colours as vibrant as they would be on paper. Solid blocks of colour and mono designs both look superb against the mirror-gold base.
Printed with eco-solvent inks, these gold stickers are water resistant, scratch resistant and UV stable for use indoors and out. By approving your proof you accept the following. Colour is reproduced as accurately as possible but cannot be guaranteed to match your screen, a printed sample or a previous order exactly. Differences between rich (full-colour) black and single black, colours sitting near the edge of the CMYK gamut, fine tints and slight variation between materials, finishes and print batches are a normal part of the printing process and may not be visible on your on-screen proof. These are considered within standard commercial print tolerance and are not classed as a fault. Where any question of print quality arises, StickyThings is the final arbiter of whether a job has printed correctly.

Are these gold labels waterproof?
Yes. They are printed on metallised PVC with eco-solvent inks and a permanent waterproof adhesive, so they wipe clean, resist scratches and UV, and can be used both indoors and outdoors without smudging.
How do you print colour onto gold material?
Our CMYK inks are slightly translucent. Printed directly onto the gold they take on a metallic tint with a slightly duller look, or we can lay down a white under-base first so your colours print as vibrant as they would on paper. Mono and solid blocks of colour both look excellent.
What is the difference between polished and satin gold?
Polished gold is bright, shiny and highly reflective, like a mirror. Satin gold is the same material with a softer, less reflective finish. If you are unsure which suits your design, order a free sample of both first.
What surfaces will the adhesive stick to?
These labels come with a permanent adhesive that bonds to most smooth surfaces such as glass, metal, card and boxes. It does not suit low-energy plastics like ABS or car bumpers, so please test with a free sample if in doubt.
Can I order custom shapes and sizes?
Yes. Enter any width and height for a standard shape, or supply a vector cutter guide for a bespoke die-cut. The minimum order is just one label, and the price per label drops as your quantity grows.
