Description

Custom bakery labels & stickers, printed on paper or waterproof vinyl

Custom printed bakery labels made in the UK in full colour, supplied on easy-peel sheets in any size or shape - choose self-adhesive paper for a natural look or waterproof vinyl for chilled, greaseproof and jarred goods, from a single label upwards.

Good bakery labels do two jobs at once - they sell the product and they carry the detail your customers need. Print your logo, flavour, ingredients, allergens and best-before dates in full colour, and give bread, cakes, brownies and traybakes a finish that looks as considered as the baking inside the box.

Pick the material to match the job. Self-adhesive paper suits kraft bags, boxes and dry goods for an honest, hand-made look, while our waterproof vinyl labels handle jars, chilled counters, greaseproof wrap and anything that might see moisture or a fridge without wrinkling or smudging.

There’s no minimum order and no set-up fee - order one label or several thousand, mix designs in a single run at no extra cost, and either design online or upload your own artwork. Not sure which material suits your packaging? Order a free sample pack and test the adhesive and finish first.

Paper or vinyl

Natural self-adhesive paper for boxes and bags, or waterproof vinyl for jars, chilled goods and greaseproof wrap - your choice.

Clear ingredient labelling

Full-colour print gives you room for allergens, ingredients, best-before dates and health or promotional claims, all easy to read.

Matt or gloss finish

Vinyl comes in a matt or gloss finish on a white or clear base, so labels sit with your branding and container.

Any size or shape

Round jar-lid stickers, rectangles, ovals or a bespoke die-cut - supply a cutter guide and we cut to match.

By approving your proof you accept the following. Colour is reproduced as accurately as possible but cannot be guaranteed to match your screen, a printed sample or a previous order exactly. Differences between rich (full-colour) black and single black, colours sitting near the edge of the CMYK gamut, fine tints and slight variation between materials, finishes and print batches are a normal part of the printing process and may not be visible on your on-screen proof. These are considered within standard commercial print tolerance and are not classed as a fault. Where any question of print quality arises, StickyThings is the final arbiter of whether a job has printed correctly.

Frequently asked questions

Are your bakery labels waterproof?

The vinyl option is. Printed on waterproof material with scratch and water-resistant ink, it copes with chilled counters, greaseproof wrap and damp jars without smudging. Paper labels are more cost-effective and suit dry boxes and bags where moisture isn’t a concern.

Can I include ingredients, allergens and best-before dates?

Yes. Labels are printed in full colour with plenty of room for ingredients, allergen information, nutritional detail and best-before or use-by dates, alongside your logo and any promotional claims like ‘no added sugar’ or ‘freshly baked’.

Should I choose paper or vinyl?

Paper gives a natural, cost-effective finish that works well on kraft bags and boxes. Vinyl is waterproof and hard-wearing, available in white or clear with a matt or gloss finish, and better for jars, chilled items and anything that might get wet. If you’re unsure, order a free sample first.

Will the labels stick to jars and packaging?

They use a permanent adhesive, so they stay attached during transit and won’t peel from jars, boxes or containers during normal use. For clear jars we can add a white ink layer so your colours stay bright against the glass.

What is the minimum order?

Just one. Order a single bakery label or several thousand on sheets, and the price per label drops as your quantity grows - handy for small-batch bakers and market stalls.

How quickly will I get my bakery labels?

Once you approve your proof we get straight to print. For our current production and delivery times, please see our turnaround and delivery page.
