Description
Custom brushed aluminium labels & stickers, printed on metallic silver vinyl
Brushed aluminium-effect labels printed in the UK on 65-micron metallised vinyl, supplied on easy-peel sheets with a permanent waterproof adhesive. Full-colour or mono print, any size or shape, from a single label upwards.
Our brushed aluminium labels give you the look of engraved metal at a fraction of the cost. The metallic silver film carries a fine brushed grain that catches the light, so printed asset tags, rating plates and equipment labels read as premium industrial parts rather than a sticker on a machine.
Printed with eco-solvent inks that won’t smudge when wet and hold their colour under UV for years, these waterproof metallic labels work indoors and out. They look their best in crisp mono or with solid blocks of colour, and can pass easily for far more expensive real metal labels.
Every order is custom-made to your measurements and supplied on roughly A4 sheets, or cut individually for a small fee. Design online or upload print-ready artwork, order from one label upwards, and if you want a softer, less shiny look, ask about our satin silver material too.
Real brushed-metal look
A fine metallic grain on 65-micron metallised vinyl that reads as machined aluminium, easily mistaken for costly engraved metal plates.
Waterproof and UV-stable
Eco-solvent print resists water and UV, rated for around five years outdoors, so labels stay sharp whatever the weather.
Permanent adhesive
A solvent acrylic adhesive that grips smooth plastics, metals and glass for good, ideal for aluminium tins and containers.
Any size or shape
Custom widths, heights and die-cut shapes on sheets - supply your cutter guide and we cut your metallic labels to match.

By approving your proof you accept the following. Colour is reproduced as accurately as possible but cannot be guaranteed to match your screen, a printed sample or a previous order exactly. Differences between rich (full-colour) black and single black, colours sitting near the edge of the CMYK gamut, fine tints and slight variation between materials, finishes and print batches are a normal part of the printing process and may not be visible on your on-screen proof. These are considered within standard commercial print tolerance and are not classed as a fault. Where any question of print quality arises, StickyThings is the final arbiter of whether a job has printed correctly.
Frequently asked questions
Are brushed aluminium labels real metal?
No - they’re printed on a 65-micron metallised PVC vinyl with a brushed silver finish. It gives the look and grain of machined aluminium at a far lower cost, and most people can’t tell it apart from a genuine engraved metal plate.
Are these metallic labels waterproof and suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. They’re printed with eco-solvent inks that won’t smudge when wet, resist UV and are rated for around five years of external weathering, so they hold up indoors and outside. Service temperature runs from -22C to +74C.
What surfaces will the adhesive stick to?
The permanent solvent acrylic adhesive is best on smooth plastics, metals and glass - it looks superb on aluminium containers or straight onto glass. It won’t bond to high-silicon or waxy surfaces such as some ABS plastics, so request free samples if you’re unsure.
Can I order custom shapes and sizes?
Yes. Enter any width and height for a standard shape, or supply a vector cutter guide for a bespoke die-cut, and we’ll cut your brushed aluminium labels to spec and supply them on sheets.
What is the minimum order and can I see the material first?
The minimum is a single label. If you want to check the finish, adhesion and print quality first, order our free samples, which carry our logo, or buy one label as a hard-copy proof of your own design.
How quickly will I get my labels?
Once you approve your PDF proof we get straight to print, typically dispatching within 3-5 working days. For our current production and delivery times, please see our turnaround and delivery page.
