Heavy-duty laminated vinyl labels printed in the UK on 100-micron vinyl with a 70-micron gloss laminate over the top, giving full-colour print that shrugs off water, UV, chemicals and abrasion. Any custom size, from a single label upwards.
These are the toughest labels we make. The ink is sandwiched between a 100-micron waterproof vinyl base and a 70-micron protective laminate, so scuffing, weather and daily wear have nothing to bite on. Printed with eco-solvent inks that won’t smudge when wet and stay UV resistant for years.
It’s an extreme-sports grade material - the same stock used on motocross bikes, jet-skis, snowboards and surfboards, where labels take a proper battering. If it holds up to that, it’ll cope with outdoor, industrial and heavy-use labelling without lifting, fading or wearing away.
There’s an extra permanent adhesive as standard, formulated to grip low-energy surfaces that beat ordinary labels - car bumpers, laptops, medals, rough metals and wood. Supplied on easy-peel sheets in full colour, cut to your exact measurements, with our lowest order set at a single label.

By approving your proof you accept the following. Colour is reproduced as accurately as possible but cannot be guaranteed to match your screen, a printed sample or a previous order exactly. Differences between rich (full-colour) black and single black, colours sitting near the edge of the CMYK gamut, fine tints and slight variation between materials, finishes and print batches are a normal part of the printing process and may not be visible on your on-screen proof. These are considered within standard commercial print tolerance and are not classed as a fault. Where any question of print quality arises, StickyThings is the final arbiter of whether a job has printed correctly.

How durable are laminated vinyl labels?
Very. With the ink sealed between a 100-micron vinyl base and a 70-micron laminate coating, it’s difficult for water, UV or abrasion to penetrate during normal use. The material is rated for around five years of external weathering, so it holds up outdoors for years.
What makes these different from standard waterproof labels?
Standard waterproof vinyl labels suit outdoor use but have no top coat. The lamination adds a protective layer that guards against scuffing, chemicals and UV, making these the better choice where abrasion or harsh weather is at its worst.
Will the adhesive stick to difficult surfaces?
Yes. These come with an extra permanent, high-tack adhesive designed for low-energy surfaces such as car bumpers, laptops, medals, wood and rough metals - jobs where a standard label won’t provide enough bonding strength.
Are they resistant to chemicals and fuels?
The unprinted film resists mineral oils, fats and fuels, aliphatic solvents, mild acids, salt and alkali - including diesel, petrol, paraffin, hydraulic oil and antifreeze. The material is also REACH and RoHS compliant.
Can I get them in any size and order just one?
You can. Labels are printed full colour on sheets in any custom size, and our lowest order is a single label. If you’re unsure the material suits your job, order a free logo sample first to test the adhesive and finish.
